A phased removal of the existing oil-fired boilers serving the main house, hostel blocks
and kitchens with replacement by Broag Part L-compliant sectional boilers and Nuway
oil-fired burners . Due to the below ground site of the plantroom, the old boilers had to
be dismantled section-by-section and hoisted out with new boiler sections being lowered in and built in-situ.
Together with a complete new control panel and associated field controls, the new system offered enhanced weather-sensitive operation with the College seeing a marked improvement in energy bills.
Project Value : £ 85,000.00
